Celeste is a familiar face at both Malena’s Mini School locations. She is responsible for curriculum and staff development. As a former classroom teacher, Ms. Shubert can sometimes be found substituting in VPK. Most families; however, recognize Ms. Celeste as the person administering Voluntary Pre Kindergarten skills test in the lobby as Malena’s Mini School prepares our children to succeed in kindergarten and life.

Chelsea Nettles– Director

Chelsea Nettles comes to the director’s office following years of experience in both toddler and preschool classrooms at Malena’s Mini School. Her strong leadership and communication skills are an added bonus for the parents and staff of the Pine Forest Road location.

Pamela Barksdale is a natural center director with a background in both business and education. With classroom experience, Pamela knows exactly what each child needs, making her a favorite with both children and parents alike!.

Erin Triche – Assistant Director
Malena’s Mini School 7181 Pine Forest Rd.
Erin Triche wears two hats. From 8:30-12:30 the VPK children absorb knowledge as Ms. Triche prepares them for kindergarten, in her role as lead teacher. After noon, Erin transitions into the assistant director’s position, where parents find her greeting, receipting adn keeping the school running smoothly.

Cindy Cash – Assistant Director

Cindy Cash’s big smile and wonderful personality are in evidence as Assistant Director. Parents know they can count on Cindy Cash for a smooth transition as they end their day. Cindy has been with Malena’s Mini School for many years and raised 6 children of her own.

CDA, 40 hour Child Care Training, Extensive VPK Training, Specialized Training in Record keeping and Management.
